About Me

I’m Abby Roberts (she/her), a working stiff and early-career author based in Virginia, United States. I write science fiction and fantasy after Ursula K. Le Guin, Marie Brennan, and Mary Robinette Kowal. I enjoy indie rock and know too much about The Lord of the Rings.

About My Coauthor

Violet is a six-year-old Australian Shepherd/Bluetick Coonhound mix, also based in Virginia, United States. Her oversight and emotional support make her a vital member of this writing enterprise. Her intellectual pursuits include tennis balls.

All of my stories are my own creative work and not generated in either whole or part by large language models, that is, computer programs that use statistical prediction to generate text, colloquially known as “artificial intelligence” or AI.
